In an era when the full-length record is often used as a crutch to rehearse variations on the same generic approach, LAPSE consciously uses this medium to juxtapose volumes, intonations, song structures, and tempos in a whirlwind of precisely articulated confusion. Spastic and claustrophobic drumming gives way to detuned arabesque guitars, gives way to heavy, nod worthy grooves, gives way to truly well sung melodies. This musical approach is deftly mirrored by lyrical content that is ardently uncertain of space or place. Lapse 12" - Recorded in March 2012, released early 2018. 1st press on black vinyl, limited to 100. Double gatefold with heavy watercolor paper outside, recycled French paper inside, screen printed over and over and over, outer most jacket is then digitally printed with some of the collage art from <a href="http://kidxage.storenvy.com/products/23261004-drown-it-out-art-book">Drown It Out</a>. Die cut circles, spine stamp, trifold 12x35 double sided insert on uncoated French paper. Album art varies radically between each copy, as each record sleeve is individually created.
